Florence Secrets

Enjoy an afternoon visit to Florence to discover its mysteries, secrets and legends of the past that make Florence unique.

Explore some of the most famous sites of Florence's ancient culture while learning about the mysteries of its past. We will visit the old city center, where some of the most interesting secrets are kept. Around the Baptistery, Duomo and Cathedral, all decorated with elaborate facades and marble panels, you will discover the “Miracle of the Flowering Tree” and the “Bull and the Baker”. We will then walk near Dante's house and discuss the infamous Church of Dante and Beatrice.

Afterwards, we will stop to see Palazzo Vecchio, famous for its civil architecture, the location of the guilds and the political court of the Medici family. While we are in Piazza della Signoria, you will see an open-air museum made up of many statues, including Michelangelo's copy of David, as well as many other notable works, including the often invisible profile sculpted by Michelangelo. We will then walk through the wings of the Uffizi Gallery.

Following the River Arno, we will walk towards Ponte Vecchio, famous for its gold jewelry shops. The tour ends in front of Palazzo Pitti. It's the best way to experience Florence's famous sites while also hearing about its mysterious pasts.
