Description

Walk with this in-app audio tour along the nation's path to independence and dive into the history of the U.S.

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is home to historical sites known as the Freedom Trail commemorating the American Revolution. On this tour, you will learn incredible facts from U.S. history and find out how the country got its independence.

Your journey will start with a visit to the Bunker Hill Monument, the site of one of the first major battles between the Red Coats and the Patriots. You will see the spectacular Old North Church, which the Patriots used to warn their comrades across the river about the arrival of the British Army.

While following the trail, you will hear the stories behind the two notable names in the American Revolution, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. You will see the site of the Boston Massacre, one of the crucial events in the history of the Revolution when British soldiers shot several civilians in cold blood. After that, you will pass by Boston Latin School, the nation's oldest public school where a few signers of the Declaration of Independence used to study. Choose to visit Granary Burial Ground, where some of the notables of the Revolution are buried.

The tour finishes at Liberty Tree, an area where once a large elm tree stood. This landmark considered the birthplace of the American Revolution, will surely give you goosebumps as you stand there.

    Excellent
Amazing history, you will love this if you have any interest at all in America's beginnings, my family spent about 8 hours on the trail and loved every minute of it, although towards the end we needed a few sit-down breaks for sure. Touring the Revere House and the USS Constitution were highlights for us. We love Boston!
