Cachoeira Grande + Grotto of Lapinha

In this one-day itinerary, we will visit Cachoeira Grande, in Serra do Cipó, with the famous river of the same name. Beautiful fall with 10 meters high and 60 meters long, with good volume of water for much of the year, at the top you can practice kayaking and stand-up paddle (optional), at the bottom you can enjoy beautiful wells, ideal for small dives, you can approach the fall and have a relaxing massage on your back (in periods of drought). Time for bathing, photos, enjoying nature, relaxing and enjoying a snack on the trail. After this invigorating morning, we will head to the district for lunch not included. Following, already returning to Belo Horizonte, stop to visit the Gruta da Lapinha, a beautiful tourist attraction, one of the 7 Wonders of Estrada Real, located in the city of Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais is the cradle of paleontology, caving and archeology in America , given the importance of fossil finds found in the region by the Danish Peter Wilhelm Lund. There are 8 visitable rooms with rich speleothems, that is, the formations inside caves and caves, such as: stalactites, stalagmites and helictites. 07:00> Departure from Belo Horizonte.
09:00> Arrival at the entrance porch at RPPN Zareia, which gives access to Cachoeira Grande (entrance included).
09:15> Beginning of the light walk, approximately 15 minutes, to the waterfall with access to part of
top ideal for kayaking and stand up paddle (optional). At the bottom, there are wells (in the
dry season), which are ideal for short dives. Free time to enjoy the whole place, take beautiful photos,
make short videos, rest and relax. Favorable place to enjoy the trail snack (included).
11:30> Return to the car, van or minibus.
12:00> Lunch (not included) in the Serra do Cipó district.
13:00> Departure to Gruta da Lapinha.
14:00> Arrival at the Grotto. Guided tour of the cave and a small museum (ticket included).
15:20> End of the visit. Return to Belo Horizonte.
16:30> Arrival. End of services.
