Description
Tiradentes, a friendly city in Minas Gerais located 203 km from Belo Horizonte. Located at the foot of Serra São José, the municipality has a tourist, recreational and cultural heritage that would be the envy of any other place. Hundreds of kilos of gold were extracted from these lands and in the initial years of the village's life, the primitive chapel was replaced by a magnificent temple, the Matriz de Santo Antônio, a heritage carefully preserved together with the historic center. These characteristics give it a bucolic and romantic aspect, attracting many couples and families to the place.
What to visit in Tiradentes: City center (Largo das Forras), Rua Direita, Fountain, Basilica Church of Santo Antonio, Padre Toledo Museum and Old Prison. Observation of the city's architecture and history.
