Learn how to make fior di latte mozzarella cheese in a local 'caseificio' in the Campania region!

Come with us to discover Fior di latte 'La Mozzarella' in one of the oldest cheese factories on the Sorrentine Peninsula, under the slopes of Monte Faito. Immersed in the green of the Vicane hills, Master Cheesemaker Antonio will take you to the family cheese factory, established at the beginning of the 20th century, and make you the protagonist of Mozzarella with practical experience and explanations of production techniques. After participating in the workshop, enjoy some delicious homemade cheeses!

Mozzarella is a type of Italian cheese known for its delicate flavor and smooth, elastic texture. Traditionally made from cow or buffalo milk in the Campania region of Italy. Cheese is widely used in Italian cuisine and is a key ingredient in many dishes such as pizza, lasagna and caprese salad. The mozzarella production process involves several steps, such as milk coagulation, processing and molding, cooling and soaking in brine.
