Pompeii & Vesuvius guided tour from Naples

In case of ongoing maintenance work on some villas or buildings for restoration, the guide will replace the visit with an alternative building. After Pompeii, climb Mount Vesuvius and stop at a local restaurant located in a scenic spot along the slopes, enjoying your pizza lunch. Then our driver will take you to 1000 meters altitude, and then you will walk to the actual top of the volcano to see the crater. At the summit, you can enjoy an explanation by a professional National Park guide, or simply peer into the crater on your own. You will admire the summit of Mount Somma (1133 meters) and to the right the cone of Vesuvius (1281 meters), both separated by a valley, called the Giant's Valley.
